Hi I want to buy 4 tickets for Magic Kindom on January 2nd 2022. Do you have any options to check if tickets may be available near the date?

Hey Howdy Hey Silvina and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear you are planning your trip to Walt Disney World Resort really soon! Thank you for stopping by with your question about purchasing Theme Park Tickets. I will be happy to give you some information to look into the availability.

When it comes to visiting the theme parks in Walt Disney World, you will need two things, a Theme Park Ticket and a Theme Park Reservation. The Theme Park Reservation you will get after your ticket purchase is required, but there is no charge for this. The reservation allows Disney to plan accordingly for expectations on attendance for the parks that day. Before you purchase your tickets, you can check online through the Theme Park Availability Tool to see which parks still have availability for the days you are looking to visit the parks. As long as there is availability,  you are free to purchase your tickets and make your reservations on those days.

You can purchase tickets online through the Walt Disney World website as well. There, you will be able to select which park you would like to start in and should be given information on the availability of your first park day also. You can also specify any options such as the Park Hopper Option if you would like to add them to your tickets and specify how many days you want your tickets for.

If you run into issues with the lack of availability, not to worry, you still do have a few options. First off, with 4 theme parks in Walt Disney World to choose from, you may have the option to visit any one of the other theme parks for a fun-filled day with experiences unique to them. You may also want to look into the Park Hopper Option as well. This option will allow you to start in one park and then hop over to another park starting at 2:00 PM EST which may allow you into a park that was unavailable for the full-day purchase. Just note this option is based on park capacity.

I hope this helped to give you a few places to start and things to consider for your upcoming visit. Please feel free to reach back out with any further questions you may have, we are always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Nick
