Hi there, Jennifer!
Welcome to planDisney. I always love hearing from another Jennifer! It's a great name!
In theory, it is possible to buy tickets in person at the ticket booths between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. However, park reservations are still needed for all Guests, and there is a very real possibility that you will be unable to enter the theme parks due to the unavailability of park reservations. I strongly recommend buying park tickets and making park reservations on the
Disneyland website ahead of time.
It looks like you live in California, so if you live nearby and still want to buy tickets in person, you could stop by a ticket booth in advance to purchase tickets and make park reservations (subject to availability). I recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar before heading to Disneyland to see if reservations are still available. There is still a risk that park reservations will become unavailable on your drive over, but at least you will know if there is a chance of reservations being available.
If you are unable to buy theme park tickets on the same day, you could spend time in the
Downtown Disney District or the
Disneyland Resort Hotels instead.
Storytellers Cafe in Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa and
Goofy's Kitchen in Disneyland Hotel have fantastic breakfasts (plus you can say hello to some beloved Disney Characters!). You could also try bowling at
Splitsville Luxury Lanes, create your own LEGO Minifigure at
The LEGO Store, or wander through the
World of Disney.
Jennifer, I am keeping my fingers crossed that you can visit Disneyland Resort on your preferred date! We hope to see you real soon!
Magic Happens!
Jen
