Hi Aaron,
Welcome to planDisney! How fun that you'll be spending Christmas in sunny Florida! Of course, visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth during your trip will be the perfect way to spend your holiday!
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble buying your tickets online. Please feel free to
call a friendly Cast Member if you'd prefer to go that route, but just a heads up...wait times have been longer than normal lately, so you may want to call when you can put your phone on speaker for a while and whistle along to the magical music while you work!
If you'd like to try to buy them online yourself and skip the call, I'll try to walk you through the process. First, since Disney Park Pass reservations are required in addition to valid tickets, you want to check the
availability calendar to make sure that there are still openings. That's one of the most popular times of the year for Guests to visit, and park availability is limited that week, so that could have been some of the issues you were having. Once you've checked the availability, though, you'll want to go to the
ticketing page. If you found two days that will work for you, you'll want to click a 2-day ticket, then choose the type of ticket you'd like. For example, the
Park Hopper Option will allow you to visit more than one park per day, subject to any capacity limitations. (Park Hopper availability is separate from Disney Park Pass Reservation availability, though, so it's possible, but not guaranteed, that you'd be able to visit a park that's currently showing as full.) Keep scrolling down, and you'll find a calendar where you select the start date for your tickets. It doesn't have to be the first date that you're visiting a park, but you'll want to make sure that you'll be able to visit as planned before the expiration date. You'll then want to select the number of tickets you'd like per age range, then click the blue oval to add any optional add-ons like
Memory Maker or
Disney Genie+. You'll then click the green "Proceed to Cart" oval to check out. As soon as you're done with that process, you'll want to go make your
Disney Park Pass reservations to secure your place in the parks.
Of course, if your preferred parks do not have openings, you'll find pixie-dusted
holiday magic throughout the Resort. Why not stop by
Disney Springs and enjoy the
Christmas Tree Stroll? Or plan a
special meal at one of the Resort hotels and enjoy the decor and festivities there?
I hope this helps, Aaron! Whatever you decide to do, I'm sending pixie dust that your plans all work out
perfectly! Thanks for stopping by planDisney, and have a truly magical vacation!
