Hi there, Mary Geraldine,
Yes, you may purchase Disneyland Resort theme park tickets in person at the main entrance ticket booths. However, it is important to note that each Guest of the Disneyland Resort theme parks must also book a
theme park reservation in addition to purchasing tickets. The number of park reservations is limited. Many are enjoying the ongoing Spring Break season by visiting The Happiest Place on Earth. So you may see some days with waning or no availability for booking park reservations.
Because of the need to book a park reservation, I highly recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Buying
tickets online or using the
Disneyland mobile app combines a ticket purchase with a reservation booking in one easy process. And when you purchase your tickets online or in the app, they are linked to your Disneyland account and show up on the Tickets and Passes screen of the app automatically.
If park reservations are unavailable, it may appear that tickets may not be purchased for a given date. If it is not possible to schedule a visit for a different date, I recommend checking back frequently. When the plans of other Guests change, they can cancel and reschedule park reservations, making their original reservations available for you. You may also wish to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar for different ticket types. For example, I noticed that some days this week have run out of park reservations for one-park-per-day tickets but still have reservations available for
Park Hopper tickets. Also, with Park Hopper tickets, you only need to reserve your starting park. So you may still
visit the other theme park after 11:00 AM, subject to availability.
Tony’s Tip: Even if park reservations appear to be unavailable on the regular calendar, Guests of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels may still have the opportunity to book from a pool of
theme park reservations exclusively for hotel Guests. To access this pool of reservations, start the park reservation booking from the "
My Hotel Reservations" page.
I hope that helps you find a way to visit the Disneyland Resort, Mary Geraldine. And I hope you have a most magical time!
~Tony
