Hello, Kiran!
While tickets may be purchased in person at the Disneyland Resort main entrance ticket booths, I highly recommend
purchasing in advance online or within the
Disneyland mobile app. That is because each Guest of the Disneyland Resort theme parks must have both valid theme park admission and a
theme park reservation. Because park reservations are limited, they may run out for any given date. Park reservations must be booked for each ticket before it can be used for park entrance. Even park tickets purchased in-person at the ticket booths cannot be used the same day of purchase unless there are reservations available to book.
The good news is that theme park reservation availability may pop up at times. Please continue to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar frequently. For example, as I am writing this, I see that reservations are available to book for
Park Hopper ticket holders to visit Disneyland Park as a starting park on June 4, 2022. Now those reservations could be booked at any moment. So I recommend acting quickly. Even if they are taken, please keep checking. I find that the evening before a given date often shows availability due to other Guests that unfortunately need to cancel their reservations at the last minute.
Tony’s Tip: only one park must be booked for theme park reservations, even for Park Hopper tickets. Once the park hopping hours start at 1:00 PM, Guests with Park Hopper tickets may choose to visit the other theme park. All that is required is to at least start in the park that is reserved and then wait until after 1:00 PM before switching parks.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Kiran. If you have any more questions about your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, please stop by planDisney again.
