Am I to buy the tickets first or make reservations?

    Hi Cynthia! Welcome to planDisney!

Oh my goodness! Your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is SO close! Have you been counting down the days until you get to vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth? My family always has a countdown going and the excitement builds as each day passes. I'm thrilled for you!

When it comes to purchasing Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets and getting Disney Park Pass reservations, you need to buy your tickets first, then make your reservations. Before you do either of those, you will want to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar (you can find it at the link I just included). You can see what theme park reservations are currently available for each of the dates you want to visit on the calendar. Depending on how many days you are planning to visit, you make be able to find theme park availability at different theme parks. If you find what you want to reserve, purchase your tickets and make your reservations right away so you secure them. They fill up quickly!

I hope this helps with your planning, Cynthia! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
