Do we buy the tickets first and then make park reservations? Or the other way around?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Rene. Oh boy! A visit to the Disneyland Resort is in your near future and I'm delighted to help with your question.

When purchasing your theme park tickets directly from the Disneyland website, you will select the date(s) of your visit. This step is also confirming and creating your theme park reservation. If you are purchasing a Park Hopper ticket, you will be asked to select your "starting park" in the purchase process. This will be the park you start your day at and you're free to hop over to the other park when the clock strikes 11:00 a.m. That's all there is to it. You can confirm your reservations by logging into your Disney account and visiting "My Plans" under the heading "My Disneyland" on the website towards the top right corner.

All that's left to do now is plan your most magical day. The Disney100 Celebration is in full swing at the resort with two new nighttime spectaculars and festive food offerings. I highly recommend checking out the guide to the celebration on the Disneyland app. It can be found on the home page if you scroll down a bit.

Rene, I hope this was helpful and gets you one step closer to your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. Time to start a countdown!

    See ya real soon,
    Michelle
