where do I buy tickets to Disneyland and California Adventure?

    Welcome to planDisney, Kathleen!

Are you visiting Disneyland Resort for the first time in forever? If so, you're about to have the most magical trip of your life. There's so much to see and experience.

To purchase tickets, simply visit the tickets page on the Disneyland Resort website. You'll select your ticket, the number of days you plan on visiting the parks, the number of tickets based on the people who'll be traveling with you (note: children younger than age 3 don't need a ticket), and the type of ticket you wish you purchase. You can select between a One Park Per Day ticket or a Park Hopper ticket. The latter allows you to hop between both theme parks each day. You'll then complete the final steps of your purchase. Also, don't forget to make your theme park reservations once you purchase your tickets!

I hope that's helpful, Kathleen. To help you have the best time ever, here are some personal recommendations for you:

    Attractions
If you purchase Disney Genie+ and get to the parks at opening you'll be able to maximize the amount of attractions you can experience. At Disneyland Park, you have to do the classics, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Pirates of the Caribbean, Alice in Wonderland, Autopia, Casey Jr. Circus Train, "it's a small world," Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough, Matterhorn Bobsleds, Space Mountain, and Indiana Jones Adventure, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, and, of course, the Disneyland Railroad.

At Disney California Adventure Park, I'd suggest riding Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters, Mater's Junkyard Jamboree, WEB-SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!, Incredicoaster, Radiator Springs Racers, Soarin' Around the World, and Grizzly River Run. Tip: Don't miss the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail if you have kids.

    Dining
Disneyland Resort has many fantastic dining options; too many to experience all in one trip. However, let me offer the following suggestions. At Disneyland Park, try and get a reservation for Blue Bayou Restaurant. A good quick-service option would be Bengal Barbecue.

At Disney California Adventure Park, I'd recommend getting a reservation for Lamplight Lounge. However, if you want to do something extra special, see if you can get a reservation for Carthay Circle. A good quick-service option would be Flo's V8 Cafe or Pym Test Kitchen.

I hope that's helpful, Kathleen. There is a lot for you to do! However, I trust you'll adore Disneyland Resort. It truly is The Happiest Place on Earth.
