Welcome to planDisney, Janie! Thanks for stopping by with your question about sharing tickets in the My Disney Experience app. I'm thrilled to help you make the most of this magical planning tool to make your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation as seamless and exciting as possible!
To link your Disney tickets, you'll want to use your
My Disney Experience account. You can do this either through the mobile app or the website. If you're using the app, open it and tap on the menu (the three lines at the bottom right). From there, go to "Tickets and Passes" and then tap the plus sign at the top right. Choose "Link Tickets & Passes" and enter the ticket ID number, which you'll usually find in your confirmation email or on the back of a physical ticket.
If you're using a computer, go to the My Disney Experience website and log in. Hover over "My Disney Experience" at the top and click on "My Plans." Scroll down a bit and then under Park Tickets select "Link Tickets," then enter the ID number.
To share plans with everyone in your party, I would suggest that they create their own My Disney Experience account, if they haven't already, then adding them to your
Friends & Family list. I would next suggest connecting your account to theirs on their own devices. This will allow you to manage all your plans from your own account while still being able to share reservation plans and tickets with everyone in your party. They will be able to see all plans including Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets.
I find the easiest way to connect to the accounts of friends and family members is by using your Linking Code. To find your Linking Code, tap on the 3 horizontal lines on the bottom right of the My Disney Experience app. Scroll to the bottom of the screen then under Account, tap “Profile.” Next, tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then prompt you with a warning explaining what the linking code is. Once someone scans your Linking Code, you’ll be added to their Friends & Family list. Next tap “Show My Linking Code.” The app will then create a unique linking code. There’s a QR version as well as a manual code that your friends and family can type in.
Once you’re linked, visit the “My Tickets and Passes” section in the My Disney Experience app, select the tickets, and look for the option to “Reassign Ticket.” From there, choose a name from the list, and the ticket will move to their account. If you need further help, the
Guest Services team is always available to assist!
Janie, I hope this helps you get everything set up for your magical adventure at Walt Disney World Resort! Thank you for visiting planDisney, and have a pixie dusted day!
