Hiya, Elizabeth! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. I'm happy to help with your vacation planning question so you can have all of your (Donald) ducks in a row before your September trip to
Walt Disney World Resort.
Fall is such a fun time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. No one does spooky season like Walt Disney World, and there are all sorts of seasonal experiences in the theme parks and the resorts. Our family loves
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at
Magic Kingdom Park! Another family favorite is Minnie's Seasonal Dining at
Hollywood & Vine (
Disney's Hollywood Studios), which is a great buffet meal and features Minnie and pals in their very best costumes for photos and autographs.
As for
tickets, I'm happy to report that you do not have to purchase far in advance--the requirement for park reservations for single-day tickets is no longer in effect. During peak times like the December holidays, the theme parks can reach capacity, but this is unlikely for a September trip. You can purchase tickets in-person at the windows at any of the theme parks or
Disney Springs, or purchase them online in advance to link them to your
My Disney Experience account.
Elizabeth, I hope this information is just what you need for your planning purposes. If our planDisney squad can help with any other questions as your vacation approaches, please reach out anytime!
See Ya Real Soon!
