Hi Katrin, and welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question. It looks like you may be arriving soon, so let’s make sure you’re not late, late, for a very important date!
If you’re looking to purchase a 1-day ticket to a
Walt Disney World Theme Park, you have a few convenient options. You can buy your ticket in person at any of the
Guest Relations windows located outside the entrance to each theme park. This is a great option if you prefer to take care of everything upon arrival. However, if you’d like to avoid waiting in line the morning of your visit, I suggest visiting the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs the day before. The Cast Members are incredibly helpful and can get everything squared away so you’re ready to go first thing in the morning, which is perfect if you plan to rope drop your favorite attractions.
While you’re considering your ticket options, you may want to look into adding the
Park Hopper option. This allows you to visit multiple theme parks in a single day, giving you the flexibility to start your morning in one park and wrap up your evening with fireworks in another. It’s one of my favorite ways to make the most of a short visit.
I’d also recommend exploring the
Lightning Lane Multi Pass option, which lets you reserve access to select attractions and experiences ahead of time. It’s a great way to minimize your time in line and maximize your time enjoying everything the parks have to offer.
I hope this helps you get ready for an incredible visit, Katrin. If you’d like,
send me another question and I can share some tips on choosing the best park for your 1-day visit based on what kind of experience you’re hoping for.
TTFN,
Brent
