Kaylen from TX Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

If i buy tickets for certain dates but cannot go on them, will i be able to adjust my dates after paying?

    Hey Kaylen!

Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your awesome question about Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets.

Kaylen, yes, you can change the dates of your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets after you have purchased them. Normally, you can do so yourself directly in the My Plans section of your My Disney Experience account. Toggle to the “Tickets & Memory Maker” section and under the ticket you wish to modify, click “modify.”

These changes can be made prior to midnight Eastern Time on the day before your ticket’s first valid use date. There is no fee to modify your ticket, but you will need to pay the difference if you switch to a date with higher-priced theme park tickets.

Additionally, if for any reason you must cancel your vacation and don’t have a different travel date in mind, you can apply the value of your unexpired, wholly unused theme park ticket towards the purchase of a new theme park ticket.

Kaylen, if you have any additional questions, please visit planDisney again. We are always hEAR to help you!

    Wishing you a Magical Vacation,
