If I buy my tickets (Canadian Resident discount) now can I make a package deal later?

    Hi Shelley,

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Exciting to know you are planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort. I hope it is soon, but don't worry. Dreaming about the Most Magical Place on Earth only makes the time go faster.

Mickey is always trying to help us save some of our Disney Dollars with some amazing Special Offers. From discounts on the room portion of a stay, to reduced or even free Disney Dining Plan, there is something for everyone.

To answer your question, I would start by having you ask yourself a question. Do you think you may want to add a Disney Dining Plan? Purchasing Theme Park Tickets ahead of time will prevent you from booking a package, since these already include Tickets. If so, you would be limited to booking a room-only reservation. Although there is a way to book a ticketless package, these are non-discounted. In any case, if a special does come up, you can simply call a Vacation Planning Specialist, or your travel agent, to add the corresponding offer code.

One last tip: Le Cellier Steakhouse is one of my favorite restaurants. Remember to make all your dining reservations early on for best selection. You can make them up to 180 days in advance, at the Walt Disney World restaurants and reservations page. Happy planning!
