Greetings, Sean, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
It’s always a good idea to plan ahead, so I’m glad you’re checking on the updated policies before purchasing tickets. Due to the
phased reopening of the
Disneyland Resort, attendance is being managed by requiring all Guests to
obtain a reservation for park entry in advance. So, to enter
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park, all Guests (ages 3 and older) will need a valid ticket and a theme park reservation for the same day and same park they want to visit. Also, theme park reservations are limited, and subject to availability.
In addition, the State of California recommends that all Guests be fully vaccinated or obtain a negative COVID-19 test prior to entering the Disneyland Resort. So, if you do become sick or test positive for COVID-19 prior to your scheduled arrival date, you are able to reschedule your park reservation for another available day. Unfortunately,
tickets are non-refundable, but you do have a long window of time to still use them. In fact, for single-day tickets purchased in 2022, you have until January 12, 2024 to use them. Even after that, if your ticket expires, you can still apply the value of your original ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket. So, in the event anything derails your original visit, all hope is not lost, Sean!
If you’re planning to visit the Resort this spring, I highly recommend scheduling your visit before April 26 so you can enjoy the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival at Disney California Adventure Park! It’s filled with delicious bites, amazing craft beers, local wines, and fabulous entertainment that’s sure to make you smile… think of it as one magical Disney party!
As you continue planning your Disneyland Resort adventures, please return with any additional questions you may have… we’re all EARs!
Hope to see ya’ real soon,
Kristin
