Hey there, hi there, pal!
You're as welcome as can be at
planDisney. Thanks for stopping by to discuss your December vacation. I'd be happy to assist a fellow Mouseketeer today. Let's get going!
My planDisney friends and I also LOVE to plan in advance. A few of us have a November adventure planned, and we've already started talking about where and what we want to eat during our trip. Please don't ask me what I'm making for dinner tonight, but I'd be thrilled to discuss what I'll have for lunch in seven months! From one planner to another, I understand wanting to secure
theme park tickets as soon as possible. Here's what you do.
First, make sure you want to purchase theme park tickets separately and not as part of a
Walt Disney World Vacation Package that bundles your resort stay and theme park admission. The main benefit of booking a vacation package is the ability to pay for your trip in increments until the final payment is due, one month before your stay begins. Additionally, if you're interested in a
dining plan, you must book a vacation package. But if you're already set with your accommodations and only need to buy theme park tickets, you can do this directly on the Walt Disney World website.
From the
Walt Disney World home page, find the heading "Parks and Tickets" and select "Theme Park Tickets" from the dropdown menu. Follow the prompts to choose the number of days you want to visit and the dates of your trip. You can also add features like the
Park Hopper Option if you're going to see more than one theme park on the same day. After finalizing the purchase, you'll assign each ticket to a Guest in your
Family & Friends list.
Once your theme park tickets have been assigned, you and your party are ready! You can enter the theme parks using a
mobile device, a plastic ticket card you can pick up at a ticketing window upon arrival, or a
MagicBand+. You'll be vacationing at the most festive time of year, and I can't wait for you to experience Walt Disney World during the
holidays. Follow
us on Instagram and stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog to keep up with this year's seasonal offerings. Thanks for sending your question to planDisney, and if there's anything else we can help with before your jolly holiday begins, don't hesitate to reach out.
Cheers,
Betsy
