Hey there, Nichole! Welcome to planDisney. You have found just the right place in the wilderness to round up answers to Disney vacation planning questions like this one, and I am so happy to help!
Tickets are easy to purchase and can be bought directly through the
Disneyland app or online on the
Disneyland Resort website. There are several ticket options available, depending on how you want your Disney days to unfold. You can choose a One Day One Park ticket and spend the day exploring either
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park. If you want to double the fun, a One Day Park Hopper ticket lets you start in one park and then hop over to the other after 11 a.m. For guests who really want to soak it all in, multi-day tickets are a wonderful option. They let you return day after day, take things at a slower pace, and notice all those incredible Disney details sprinkled throughout the resort.
You will also need a
theme park reservation, but that part is as easy as choosing a churro as your first snack of the day. Disneyland uses a tiered pricing system based on anticipated crowd levels, so when you purchase your tickets, you will select your park dates at the same time and your reservation is made right along with them.
Nichole, before your visit, I highly recommend watching
Disneyland Handcrafted, now streaming on Disney+. It is such a beautiful look at the creativity, innovation, and heart that went into building the Disneyland we know and love today. Seeing Walt’s vision come to life makes it extra special when you are walking through the parks and spotting those opening-day touches for yourself.
No matter which ticket option you choose, the most important thing is that your visit is filled with unforgettable memories. Please come back and see me anytime you have more planning questions. I am always happy to help you get ready for your magical adventure.
