Hiya Lester and welcome to planDisney!
As a Louisiana girl, fabulous food is near and dear to my heart(and a little wine sure doesn't hurt). Clearly the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is my favorite EPCOT experience and I try not to miss it every year. It's my joy and my pleasure to share with you how to enjoy EPCOT's best festival.
You don't actually need a special ticket to visit this gastric wonderland. All you need is a
Theme Park Ticket and a
Theme Park Reservation via the Disney Park Pass System for EPCOT. Then you'll be able to enter and find the
Global Marketplaces that suit your fancy. The easiest way to secure your spot is through the
My Disney Experience app. Just open it and log in. You'll then tap the three-lined icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Choose Tickets and Passes and then Select Tickets. Choosing Theme Park Tickets will lead you to the page that allows you to choose your ticket option. You can then Select the Number of Days and choose October 27th. Follow the prompts until your Theme Park Ticket is just right and then make the purchase. Once you have your purchase squared away, you can tap the plus icon at the bottom center and choose to Make or Modify Park Reservations. You'll then be led to the Walt Disney World website where you'll log in and book your park reservation. Now that you've gotten the hard part over and done with, allow me to share some of my favorites from my excursion to this year's festival.
1. Greece cooked up a lamb gyro was divine and my goddaughter kept dragging back for more spanakopita. When a child's main reason to go back to a park is not for a ride, but for the food, you know it's real.
2. Canada is booth never disappoints. The "Le Cellier" wild mushroom beef filet mignon with truffle butter sauce was so good I went back by myself to get another one. Please don't tell my goddaughter. She'll never forgive me.
3. Brew-Wing at the Odyssey was a no-brainer. Jerk wings are always near the top of my list and the ones here are no different. These come with a papaya chili sauce that pushes these over the top. My goddaughter didn't get these. I wasn't sharing.
Lester, I hope you have as much fun eating your way around the world as I did. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat!Happy planning!
