Hi there, Hannah! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
It looks like you're in the beginning phases of planning a trip to The Happiest Place on Earth! How exciting! I'm happy to help you along this magical journey. Before I do, I thought I'd share a friendly reminder that
Character Greetings are back at the Disneyland Resort! For those who are comfortable, Mickey and his pals are ready for hugs, high-fives, fist-bumps and autographs! Ka-Chow!
Hannah, if you purchase a ticket via the
Disneyland Resort Website, you are prompted to choose a date and starting park before beginning the checkout process. The date and park you choose serve as your theme park reservation for that day. If you purchased a ticket via a third-party vendor, you are required to make a
theme park reservation separately before your visit. With that said, you must start in the park that you designated as your starting park. If you purchased the
Park Hopper ticket option, you will be able to visit the other park anytime after 1:00 p.m. If you purchased a One Park Per Day ticket, you will only have access to the park you chose as your starting park for that day.
If you've already made your reservations and you are now seeing that the
Theme Park Reservation Availability is fluctuating, that should not affect your visit. The Theme Park Reservation Availability is for new ticket purchases and those who have not yet made park reservations. If you don't see the second park you'd like to hop to available for reservations, that's ok, as you'll be in the clear once park-hopping hours begin.
Have a magical day!
Ashley
