If we buy a ticket for the not so scary halloween party, can we get through the whole park if we arrive at 4? Or do I need to plan for another full day ticket to MK too? Can I get fast pass with the halloween ticket?

    Hiya Allison!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so glad to hEAR you’re planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth!

You're coming during my favorite special ticketed event at Walt Disney World Resort! Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the spook-tacular celebration where adults and children alike can dress up like their favorite Disney characters, collect treats around the Park, watch special fireworks, and so much more. It hosts the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade; it has (not so scary) ghouls and a catchy tune that you'll be singing for days! I love it so much, I try to catch both showings. You may enter the Park at 4 p.m. with valid admission for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and you will be able to reserve FastPass+ selections up until 7 p.m. when the party officially begins. During the party, there are no FastPasses.

Every family is so different when it comes to vacationing at Walt Disney World Resort. Some people are relaxed and feel it’s alright not to get everything done. Others are Rope Drop (when Walt Disney World Resort opens the gates to the Theme Parks) and stay until the Parks close type! However, I do feel that Magic Kingdom Park is one that you would need more time at. With so many attractions, shows, dining options, and character meets, it is difficult to do it all in half a day. Also, attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a different experience because the event has its own fireworks show and a completely different kind of magic to it. If you’ve heard about Happily Ever After, it is the most spectacular fireworks show I have ever seen, and is not offered during the special ticked event. My advice to you would be to take an extra day to explore the magic at Magic Kingdom Park and to enjoy every moment!

I also encourage you to keep checking the Special Offers, Deals, and Discounts. There are always new offers coming throughout the year and sometimes the deals are too good to miss!

Allison, I hope you have the most enchanting vacation!
