Hi, Kathryn!
Welcome, and thanks for sending your question to
planDisney. It sounds like you’re eager to plan a magical visit to the
Disneyland Resort soon!
As you might have heard, only California residents can enter the theme parks for the time being, per guidance from the state. If you plan to
purchase tickets and make a
theme park reservation, be sure that your contact information, especially your current home address in California, is up-to-date on your Disney account. When you make your reservation, you’ll be asked to confirm that you and everyone in your party are California residents.
Cast Members at the theme park entrances may require Guests to present valid identification to show proof of California residency, so it’s important that the name on each ticket matches the name on the person’s identification. Theme park tickets can’t be assigned to another person online, you will need to call the Disneyland Resort at (714) 520-6222 (the Website Support department) or (714) 781-4636 (Reservations and Tickets) for assistance.
Please stop by again if you have any other questions, Kathryn. We’d love to help you plan!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
