Hey there, hi there Kyle! Welcome to planDisney. We appreciate you stopping by with your ticketing question and I would be happy to get you an answer.
It is no problem if you purchase a ticket and make a reservation for a day but then cannot attend on that reservation date. It is recommended out of courtesy that you cancel that reservation, but that is all that is needed to be done. The ticket is still good until the expiration date. You can make another reservation at any time there is availability for your ticket type. If your ticket is for a specific tiered day and you wish to use it for a day that is a higher tier, you would need to upgrade that ticket. I would suggest reaching out to
Ticket Services to see what the current options are to do so.
While I hope that you can use it sooner than later, should the ticket expire before you can use it you still have an option. According to the
eTicket Terms and Conditions, any wholly unused ticket can have the purchase price of that ticket price applied towards the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater value.
I am sending pixie dust that you will be able to keep your current reservations! As the date gets closer, I hope you check the
Entertainment Schedule to see when the
nighttime spectaculars are taking place. I am so excited about the return of these nighttime entertainment options!
Kyle, thanks again for stopping by planDisney. Please don't hesitate to reach out and let us help you with any future questions you have. You've got a friend in us!
