Hi, Russell! Welcome to planDisney.
And the award for
Best Friend Ever goes to... (drumroll, please)... Russell! Take a bow, you’ve earned it! Giving someone a
ticket to Walt Disney World is an unforgettable gift. You’re giving them a chance to hug Mickey, scream on Space Mountain, and see the sky light up with enchanting fireworks. My only question for you is: Am I the friend you're referring to?
The good news is that you can absolutely
buy a theme park ticket for a friend. When you purchase tickets online, just select “This order will be a gift” under the Guest Information section, enter your friend’s name, and complete your purchase. Once the order is processed (which may take up to 24 hours), your friend can either link the ticket to their My Disney Experience account or pick it up at a theme park ticket window. If picking it up in person, they’ll need the gift receipt and a valid photo ID that matches the name you entered at checkout. For minors, a parent or guardian will need to show their ID.
A quick tip: encourage your friend to use the
My Disney Experience app to view park hours, check wait times, make dining reservations, and purchase
Lightning Lane Passes.
Thanks for choosing to be our Guest, Russell.
Mike
