Welcome, friend!
You are in for such a treat with a visit to the Disneyland Resort this week, right in the middle of
Halloween Time! This is one of my favorite times of the year to be in the parks. Let yourself get swept up in the season, from the festive fall decor to the limited-edition sweet treats to the happily haunted entertainment. You are going to love it!
We here at planDisney love helping our fellow Guests plan their way to and through the magic, and that often starts with the basics like tickets and entry. Guests under the age of 3, as you know, are hosted by Mickey himself and do not require a
theme park ticket,
theme park reservation, or
Lightning Lane Multi Pass. They are welcome to tag along with you as you make your way through the parks, experience attractions, and even hop in the Lightning Lane with you if you have added a Multi Pass to your ticket. One exception here is when you are making
dining reservations. You are asked to include your full party in the Guest count - even infants and toddlers - so they can ensure you have the correct table size for your experience.
With a little one in tow, you may want to grab one of the new Family Adventure Maps. There is one for both Disneyland and California Adventure. There are some fun activities for the kiddos to do while waiting in any lines, and they are a great resource for parents and caregivers. Not only do they include a detailed breakdown of every attraction, letting you know if it's dark, has drops, goes fast, etc., but there is also a guide for where to find kid-friendly food options. Yes, a quick reference to where the nearest chicken tenders can be found! These maps are typically found with the regular park maps upon entry, or you can head to Guest Services to pick one up.
I'm wishing you a magical visit! If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at
planDisney.
See ya real soon!
