Hi, Tracy! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question!
At this time, the Disneyland Resort does not sell partial day tickets unless you are part of a convention group that has set up twilight tickets. I would encourage you to check the operating hours and the
entertainment schedule for the day you arrive. Even if you don't arrive until later in the afternoon, it's possible that the parks could still be open for six or seven more hours. That would give you plenty of time to ride many of your favorite attractions and to enjoy the exciting nighttime entertainment options.
If you would rather not use a ticket on your arrival day, then you'll be delighted to know that there are many things to do outside of the parks that do not require a ticket. You could enjoy a character dinner at
Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel and dine on an expansive and tasty buffet while Goofy and his pals come greet you at your table. Or how about a night of bowling at Splitsville Luxury Lanes? You can even dine while you bowl. The
Downtown Disney District is just bursting with fabulous places to dine and shop! Finally, if you are staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you could most certainly take a dip in the pool or hot tub when you arrive.
I hope this helps. Have a fabulous time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
