Hi Leticia, welcome to planDisney!
Have you seen the recent announcements about
changes coming to Walt Disney World Resort in 2024? As a Florida resident, it may be good to know that starting on January 9, 2024, date-based tickets will no longer require theme park reservations. If you’re an Annual Passholder, on “good-to-go days” you will not require a theme park reservation, subject to your Annual Pass block-out dates.
When you purchase your theme park tickets through the My Disney Experience app, there is a step to “Customize Your Tickets.” This step allows you to
verify your Florida residency with your valid Florida driver’s license, state-issued ID card with Florida address, or Florida-based military ID. If you are purchasing your theme park tickets on the Walt Disney World website, there is a step to fill out “
Your Florida Resident Information” at check-out. If you have completed this step, you may enter the theme parks when using your ticket without having to stop by Guest Relations.
I hope this was helpful, Leticia. Don’t forget to visit the
Disney Parks Blog throughout the year for updates regarding theme park reservations, as well as future exciting theme park news! If you have any other planning questions, come
