i want to buy the summer tickets for florida residents for my son and his friend, but i’m not going to be present with them at the park, they are both 17, if i show a proof or residency in the app is that enough or would i need to go to the park myself?

Welcome to planDisney, Daniel! Thanks so much for coming to us with your question today!

It's so nice that you're planning to gift your son and his friend some tickets to Walt Disney World Resort. You are welcome to purchase tickets for them, assuming that they are both also Florida residents, but you must be with them when the tickets are used for the first time. Every other use after that, they can be on their own!

There is so much for teens to do at Walt Disney World Resort, and your son and his friend are going to have so much fun. They should take on all the Disney Thrills! There are more than 15 attractions at Walt Disney World Resort with big drops, high speeds, and even one with an inversion. If they have tickets with the Park Hopper Option, you should challenge them to ride as many as they can in one day and share their attraction photos! Photos from attractions are now included with the purchase of Disney Genie+ Service, so they will be able to collect them throughout the day in the My Disney Experience app.

    Have a magical day, Daniel!
