Hi Emily! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
I think you've made an excellent choice on timing for your next
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I love visiting during the end of February because the weather is usually sunny and comfortable, the days are getting longer and the busy Spring Break season is usually still a few weeks away!
I personally can't live without adding the
Park Hopper Option to my Theme Park Ticket! If you and your party have any plans to hop I would definitely suggest purchasing this add-on either before you leave home or as soon as you arrive at your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Even though I'm (obviously!) a planner, I love the flexibility that Guests have when "Park Hopping". We're able to set our morning plans in stone by making
Theme Park Reservations but we have the chance to be spontaneous and enjoy unexpected magic anytime after 2 p.m. I love that I can grab a last-minute, hard-to-get dining reservation at any Theme Park, that I can book Individual Lightning Lane attractions at two different Parks each day and that I can say "good morning" to
Cinderella Castle and "good night" to
Spaceship Earth!
If you choose to begin your visit with a Standard Theme Park Ticket where you're able to visit one Theme Park per day, you will be able to upgrade to a Park Hopper Option Theme Park Ticket as long as you still have at least one admission left on your already purchased
Theme Park Ticket and that ticket is not expired. However, I wouldn't suggest doing this because the Park Hopper Option is added to the length of your original Standard Theme Park Ticket purchase and is not available to purchase for just select days of your stay. In short, you'll be paying the same amount for the upgrade whether you do it before you head down to The Most Magical Place on Earth or on your very last day.
If you want my opinion - GO FOR IT! We've never felt like the Park Hopper Option wasn't the perfect way to balance our Disney days in all four Theme Parks. Have a wonderful stay!
