Hiya David,
Welcome back to planDisney! We are so happy to have you here and honored that you continue to visit us for help with your planning questions. You’ve come to the right place for your question, David. We panelists love bringing the magic home with us! One of my fellow panelists even purchased one of the older
Fort Wilderness cabins so that she could have a part of resort history. One of my favorite ways to ensure that the magic of Walt Disney World Resort is always with me is by adding small touches of it throughout my house. From candles that smell like my favorite resort hotel lobbies and flowers from my garden, which I’ve seen in resort hotel courtyards, you name it, I’ve added it to my home design.
I know precisely what shower curtain you are talking about, David. I can see why you want it to be “part of your world.” At one point, you could purchase shower curtains at the
Ink and Paint Shop, but I wasn’t able to confirm with a Cast Member that that is still the case. I think it is still worth a shot to check out that merchandise location during your next visit; you never know if they will be sold again or not. You can also chat with a Cast Member at the front desk to ask if they know if they are being sold anywhere else on the property during your visit. In the meantime, if you aren’t planning on visiting in a while, you can always check out the resale market; there are always collectors who have incredible collections of thingamabobs they are willing to part with.
I wish you the best of luck on your hunt for the shower curtain, David. When I was researching your question, I noticed that many Guests like you are interested in the shower curtains at
Art of Animation Resort. I hope they will bring them back for sale at Ink and Paint soon.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
