After we buy a resort package can we add a dining plan later on?

Hi Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm happy to say that, yes, you absolutely can add a Disney Dining Plan to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation after you have booked your Disney Resort hotel reservation. You will need to also have your Walt Disney World Resort tickets added to the package. You can choose from the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, Disney Dining Plan and Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. I love the flexibility of the dining plans, and especially like having my meals paid for in advance. It makes budgeting for my vacation so much easier!

Once you decide which dining plan best suits your vacation, simply call (407) 939-5277 to add on to your vacation package. You'll also notice a spot on the Dining Plan page to "Add to an Existing Reservation."

Before your trip, be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app. With it, you can order food in advance from many Quick-Service locations in the theme parks, apply your dining plan snack or meal entitlements and skip the regular line when you arrive to pick up your meal. It's so fast and easy!

Enjoy planning your upcoming vacation, Lisa, and please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
