Hi Madison,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question about theme park re-entry - I'm happy to help. As a parent who’s been visiting the parks since my kids were little, I know that a bit of extra planning can go a long way. Let’s take a closer look at how re-entry works to help you feel prepared.
You'll be happy to know that all theme park tickets allow Guests to leave the parks and return on the same day! When my daughters were younger, we would often choose to head back to our
Disney Hotel midday so they could have a nap. Now that they are a bit older, we sometimes choose to take a midday break and enjoy the resort pool or simply get off our feet for a bit. If we are expecting a late night due to
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, a
Disney After Hours event or a holiday party, we head back to the resort to rest so we are ready for the rest of the evening!
The only time when you cannot re-enter the theme park is if the park has reached capacity. If this occurs, you'll receive a notification on your
My Disney Experience app. Typically, theme parks can reach capacity during the holiday season, so you should be ok.
Madison, I hope this information helps with your Disney planning. Wishing you a wonderful visit to the theme parks! If you have any other questions, please visit us again at
planDisney. We'd love to help.
See you real soon,
Candace
