    If I buy a regular 3-day ticket, and on the third day decide to upgrade it to a park hopper, do I just pay to upgrade the third day, or do I need to pay the price difference on the entire ticket as if I had park hopper for all three days?

    Welcome, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m thrilled that your visit to the Disneyland Resort is just around the pixie-dusted corner! I hope you’re ready for all the magic and adventure that awaits you. 

    You can indeed upgrade your 1 Park Per Day Ticket to a Park Hopper Ticket before the last valid day of your theme park ticket by visiting a Main Entrance Ticket Booth at the Disneyland Resort. You'll be responsible for paying the difference between the ticket you already purchased and the price of the upgraded 3-day ticket. The Park Hopper upgrade cost will be added to every day of the whole multi-day ticket, not just the final day when you plan to use it. I typically do recommend opting for Park Hopper Tickets if possible so you have access to Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park throughout each day, with the privilege of moving back and forth between the two adjacent theme parks as you wish for the duration of your trip. The main entrances of the parks face each other and are just a minute or two apart on foot!
