Everyone loves a magical visit to
Walt Disney World--even if a few raindrops threaten to dampen the day. (I like to think of WDW rain as just what the gorgeous flowers and beautiful trees need to keep them happy.)
You'll be pleased to know that you can purchase a fantastic rain poncho at just about any shop throughout Walt Disney World.
Sport Goofy Gifts and Sundries--the shop at
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort--will most definitely have them, and its location right inside the hotel's entrance is super-convenient. With bus stops right outside that spot, you can easily head into the shop, pick up your poncho, and get right onto the bus stop. Easy peasy. I've done just that many times.
If skies looked great when leaving your resort, but threaten rain later in the day, not to worry. Just look for shops and merchandise kiosks throughout the parks and
Disney Springs; Cast Members will likely break out a stash of those heavy-duty hooded ponchos and place them in a visible location. (Just ask if you don't see them!)
Sometimes, a little rain sends some guests home for the day, so you might notice crowd levels are down a bit after a storm. That's a great time to get onto more rides and pack even more pixie dust into your plans--all while staying dry in that super-useful poncho.
