    where to buy rain gear

    Hey Carol!

    You will see rain ponchos in just about all of the Disney Park's gift shops. If rain is threatening, the Cast Members will usually move them to a prominent spot, like near the cash registers or door.

    My family purchased lightweight ponchos at our local dollar store some years back. The ponchos are folded in a reusable pouch and don't take up much room in my purse while walking through the Parks. I purchased different colors for everyone in the family so that we could get them on quickly before getting too wet...even though it is hilarious to see my 6'4" husband put on my daughter's rain poncho!  I keep these ponchos in my car when not in Disney for those times that we are out shopping and the sky falls out. They've been very handy!

    If the forecast does call for rain I like to bring extra socks to the Parks for my family. Because while the ponchos keep our heads and clothing dry, inevitably, my kids jump in those puddles and get wet feet!
