If I buy a popcorn bucket at one of the parks can I refill it at the other parks? Also can we refill it our whole trip or is it only for the day we purchased it?

    Hello Mindy, welcome to planDisney!

I'm so glad you asked a question about popcorn, it's one of my favorite snacks when I'm visiting the theme parks at Walt Disney World Resort! Did you know that more than 845,000 pounds of popcorn are popped every year at Walt Disney World Resort? That's a lot of popcorn! Popcorn gained its popularity during the 19th century and was a staple at circuses, carnivals and fairs. It became synonymous with entertainment and leisure and can now be found everywhere from movie theatres, sporting events and of course, theme parks. Walt Disney wanted Guests to smell the fresh popcorn as soon as they walked through the entrance gates of the parks so he had the popcorn carts set up right at the entrance. It's the first thing Guests smell as they take their first steps on Main Street, U.S.A. and I know for me, it brings memories flooding back as I smell the delicious popcorn popping.

There is always a selection of popcorn buckets for sale at Walt Disney World Resort. Guests can choose from a unique time-limited design or go for a standard bucket. No matter which is selected, popcorn buckets are refillable at all parks (and Disney Springs) for the length of stay. I purchased a regular bucket on my last Walt Disney World Resort trip and brought it to the theme parks for refills each day. It was a great snack for my family members to share!

Most of the popcorn carts located throughout the theme parks offer buttery salted popcorn but my favorite place to get a refill is at the Canada Pavilion (it's like I'm back home!). They sell maple-flavored popcorn - it's delicious. With Spring around the corner and the sap that's flowing, I have maple on my mind!

I hope this information helps with your snack planning, Mindy. If you think of any other vacation planning questions, please let me know!

    Cheers,
    Candace
