If I buy a poncho at Disney will they replace it if it gets torn?

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question.

I’ll let you in on a little secret… Even though they’re more expensive than some other types of plastic ponchos that you can buy “off-property”, I always buy a new Disney Parks rain poncho when I visit Walt Disney World Resort. Why do I bother? Because, whenever it has gotten torn, I’ve been able to go to the nearest merchandise location and the Cast Member has replaced it for me, no questions asked! This is an especially good tip for people with wider heads/necks (like my husband), as the neck opening on these ponchos is somewhat narrow and prone to tearing.

Please remember that this is an unofficial policy. Like any other special perk at Walt Disney World Resort, is subject to change at any time and may not be offered at every merchandise location.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and visit us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
