Hi Scott, welcome to planDisney!
If you purchased your theme park tickets through the Walt Disney Travel Company,
you’ll receive an email confirmation with an e-Ticket barcode around 72 hours after booking. You can use the ticket number to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account on the
Walt Disney World website. Once the tickets are linked to your account, you can use a MagicBand+ or Disney MagicMobile Service to enter the theme parks and redeem Lightning Lane Passes. Or, once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort, you can
visit a theme park ticket window with your ticket confirmation and a valid government-issued photo ID to pick up physical tickets. The tickets must be picked up by the person listed on the ticket confirmation. Keep in mind that
certain attractions use Bluetooth technology to link attraction photos to your My Disney Experience account. To collect these attraction photos, you’ll need to use your mobile device with Bluetooth technology enabled or a MagicBand+.
I hope this helps, Scott. I recommend linking your tickets to your My Disney Experience account first, then deciding if you want to use your mobile device, MagicBand+, or physical card in the theme parks. You can easily use any of these options during your vacation. I’m not sure when you’re visiting, but
Disney Parks Blog recently announced the 2025 dates for
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Tickets go on sale soon, so maybe you can add a bit of not-so-spooky fun to your holiday! If you have any more questions, we’re here to help at
