Hey there, Christine! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy that you've stopped by with your question. I'm excited to be chatting with a soon-to-be fellow Annual Passholder!
Well, it sounds like the magic is calling and you are answering the call! The magic called me, too, and I answered the call and became a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder in 2015 and have been loving living in the magic ever since. Being able to just make Theme Park Pass reservations and head to my happy place on a whim truly brings joy and magic to my everyday life. I'm SO excited for you to soon have that same joy and magic, and I'm thrilled to answer your question today.
If you purchase your
Disney Pixie Dust Pass, exclusively for Florida residents, today but do not activate it and start using it until September 2022, your Annual Pass will expire in one year from activation, in September 2023. Once you purchase your Pass, you will see an Annual Pass certificate under "Tickets and Passes" in your
My Disney Experience account, and this certificate expires one year from purchase, meaning that you have an entire year to activate it. Since you will be activating yours in September, you will have plenty of time, so, Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" Even before your Pass is activated, with this certificate in your My Disney Experience account, you can begin making your Theme Park Pass reservations for any upcoming visits. Yay! Then, once you are ready to use your Annual Pass for the first time, just stop by Guest Relations right outside of any of the theme parks or in Disney Springs to activate your Pass before its first use. Magic unlocked!
Before you purchase your Disney Pixie Dust Pass, just be sure to check out
the blockout dates and make sure that this will work with your plans. Since this Pass is valid only for weekday visits, I suggest adding on the Water Parks and Sports Option! While prices are subject to change, right now, you can add on this option for only $99 plus tax for the whole year, and there are no blockout dates. So, that means that when you are blocked out of the theme parks on the weekends, you will still be able to live it up and enjoy the water parks, golf, miniature golf, and the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex (when available). Also, remember that Florida residents qualify for the Florida Resident Monthly Payment Program! You should be all set, Christine!
I hope this was helpful, Christine, and I am wishing you a year of fun, magic and memories! Please stop by any time with any planning questions you may have. You've got a friend in me!
I hope to see ya real soon,
Mandy
