Can I buy a photo pass for our entire trip but not buy a Genie pass?

Welcome to planDisney, Ruth! How often have you been on vacation, and you're the only never in the pictures? For me, it's all the time! Luckily with Disney's PhotoPass Service, that won't be the case. Let's see if we can get a sharper focus on some of the details!

While Disney Genie+ Service does include unlimited PhotoPass downloads, some guests would rather purchase it separately. In your case, I recommend looking into Disney PhotoPass+ One Week. This way, you can access digital downloads of all your Disney PhotoPass photos for seven consecutive days for one price. Magic Shots and Animated Magic Shots captured during those days are also included! Visit the Disneyland PhotoPass website to purchase it in advance of your trip.

Did you know you can locate PhotoPass Photographers on the Disneyland Mobile App to see which photographers are currently available? Here's another tip: when taking a PhotoPass picture with your favorite character, ask them for their signature pose for the camera, and then pose along with them. Chewbacca will love it if you practice your Wookie roar together!

I hope your trip is picture-perfect, Ruth! Please stop by the planDisney site again real soon with more trip-planning questions!

Meet the Panelist: Eean, Pennsylvania

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
