Hi, how can I buy photo pass for the day , I will only be staying for a day and half . Thank you

Hi Dora, and welcome to planDisney! I'm glad that the Disney PhotoPass service is on your radar. There are many locations across Disneyland and California Adventure where photographers are in position to take photos of Guests with amazing backgrounds, including Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Partners Statue, Paradise Bay, and more. Let's dive in!

Dora, Disney PhotoPass+ One Day is certainly an option – you can purchase it in the Disneyland mobile app to unlock digital downloads of all the PhotoPass photos you take that day. It should show up as an option once you tap to view a PhotoPass photo in the app. However, I generally suggest getting the Lightning Lane Multi Pass for the day instead, and I'll share why.

The Lightning Lane Multi Pass includes unlimited digital downloads of PhotoPass photos taken that day, just like the one day pass. However, it is also a fantastic way to experience many of the Disneyland Resort attractions, since it will help you save time waiting in line. You'll make selections throughout the day and use a Lightning Lane entrance instead of going to the standby queue. Additionally, the multi pass includes Disney PhotoPass Lenses, which make for some really great selfies in the Disneyland mobile app. My family likes to play with those as we wait in line or rest.

You can purchase the Lightning Lane Multi Pass from the app after scanning into the park. This is what I typically do. You may be able to do it in advance, too – in the mobile app, tap the icon with the three horizontal lines (☰) and then tap "My Tickets & Passes." Then, scroll to your ticket and see if there is a "Change Ticket" option. If there is, tap that to see the available add-ons, which should include the multi pass. If that is not showing up, you can try speaking with a Cast Member by phone on the Tickets line

Don't forget to also stop at the PhotoPass locations with Characters! In Town Square, you may be able to take a photo with Mickey or one of his pals. In Pixie Hollow, you can pose with Tinker Bell. In the Royal Hall, you may be able to "take a portrait" with Disney Princesses, as they'd say. There are some other opportunities, all of which you can explore in the mobile app. Just navigate to the map and tap the "PhotoPass" icon.

Dora, I hope this information feels like a sprinkle of pixie dust! If you think of any other questions between now and your trip, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!

    Your pal,
