How do you buy a phot pass for your cruise

    Hello, Shandra,

Say, "Cheese!" My family pre-booked the unlimited photo package for our previous Disney cruise too. We loved meeting all the characters, experiencing all the backdrops, and getting all the magic shots. During our 10-night cruise on the Disney Wonder, we accumulated nearly 200 photos. My favorite was a Muppets-themed Magic Shot. With the advanced purchase of the photo package, we appreciated saving costs while also saving our vacation memories.

You can pre-book your photo package when your window for booking activities opens. If you are first-time cruisers, this will begin 75 days before your sail date. You only need to purchase one photo package for your stateroom. To purchase the unlimited photo package after your booking window opens up, use the "My Plans" tab from the My Reservations page. The portion of the activities booking screen for the first day of your cruise will include an option for you to select the photo package.

The unlimited photo package will be added to your stateroom account. If you have pre-purchased onboard credit through the Disney Cruise Line Onboard Gifts shop or had any other onboard credit added to your account, the charge for the photo package will probably be taken from that first after your cruise begins. Otherwise, it will be charged to the form of payment you indicate during your online check-in.

Each member of your stateroom will be able to take advantage of the photo package benefits, no matter who in your stateroom purchases it, and even if your whole party is not together for any given photo. A Guest from your stateroom will simply tap their Key to the World card, state their stateroom number, or tap their DisneyBand+ to link to your shared photo account the photos taken by one of the several professional photographers from the Shutters Photography Shop on board.

I hope you have a magical cruise, Shandra. Please check in here at planDisney if we can offer any more advice or recommendations.
