Hiya Kristen, and thanks for bringing your question to
planDisney!
It sounds like you and your family are all soon-to-be
Magic Key holders, how exciting! I can relate to your question, since my husband and three children and I are all Magic Key holders, and so are my parents! We all live local to the
Disneyland Resort, so we love heading to the parks together whenever we get a chance. I can’t wait for you and your family to do the same soon!
I'm happy to report that yes, you can link the two additional Magic Keys to your Disneyland account using your
Disneyland app, and your parents can also have their Magic Keys show up on their Disneyland apps, too. For example, I have my family of five linked on my Disneyland app, in addition to my parents, so I have seven Magic Keys on my Disneyland app. My parents also have my entire family’s Magic Keys linked on their Disneyland apps, too. That way, if we split up in the parks, or if we choose to visit on different dates, we can still access our own Magic Keys separately.
Once your parents purchase their Magic Keys, you can link them to your Disneyland app by going to “Tickets and Passes” and then “Link Tickets & Passes” in the upper right-hand corner. You can either scan their barcodes, or enter their ID numbers manually – ID numbers can be between 12-18 digits, and may contain letters or numbers. Hit “Submit” and you should be all set!
I hope this helps your family get all linked and ready for your next adventure-filled day at the Disneyland Resort, Kristen! Be sure to catch
the exciting return of the Main Street Electrical Parade at Disneyland Park! I can’t wait to watch it light up the night once again!
