Ahoy there Joseph, and welcome to planDisney - your destination for some nautical knowledge ahead of your next Disney Cruise Line voyage!
Now if you're anything like me, you probably look forward to enjoying some very well-deserved
relaxation and possibly a bit of pampering at the Senses Spa & Salon whenever you come on board. On my most recent
cruise aboard the Disney Wish this month, I immediately went to the Spa Open House on Embarkation Day to take a tour and find out about the availability of Rainforest Room passes.
You'll be happy to hear that at the current time, appointments are not required in order to access the Rainforest Rooms across the fleet. In fact, the Spa Crew Members on board not only let us know the hours of operation for the duration of our cruise, but also the times that we might expect lower traffic for a bit of additional privacy. Here are some tips based on my personal experience if you're at all wary of being able to snag one of those coveted heated loungers or avoid a lot of folks during your relaxation time:
- It may be tempting to begin taking advantage of the Rainforest Room as soon as you set foot on board but be aware that the first day of every voyage will have more of your fellow guests popping in for tours which might be a little disruptive to any tranquility you may be eager to attain. That said, it does tend to get busier over the course of the voyage as more of your fellow seafarers discover what they may have been missing out on!
- Sea Days are undoubtedly the most popular on any given voyage, especially as folks seeking refuge from all of the exciting sights and sounds of activities on board head directly for some soothing Spa time.
- If you're absolutely fine with skipping out on one of the Live Production Shows, some folks prefer to avoid the crowd and spend their evenings relaxing in the spa spaces while the rest of the ship is occupied with dining and delighting in the evening entertainment.
Keep in mind that Rainforest Room offerings and policies are subject to availability and may change by the time you come aboard without prior notice. I highly recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog and
Disney Cruise Line websites, along with any updates about your cruise vacation that may be sent directly to your email. Please come back to planDisney to
ask me any more questions that you may have ahead of your adventure and be sure to connect with
