Can you buy a parking pass in advance?

Hey there, Catherine, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for driving over to see us with your question. Now, let's chat about how to stash those wheels at the Walt Disney World Resort!

If you're a longtime Floridian like me, you know that we are attached to our cars, which is great when it comes to the convenience of hopping behind the wheel and taking a day trip to Walt Disney World. I just channel my inner Lightning McQueen, and ka-CHOW! Life is a highway, and all roads lead to Disney.

At this time, Disney doesn't offer a pre-paid parking pass, but once you've paid to park, you're covered for the whole day, even if you're hopping to the other Parks. For an extra fee, you can upgrade to Preferred Parking, which gets you choice spots at any Park all day long. Also, Guests of Disney Resort hotels and most Annual Passholders receive complimentary Theme Park parking.

When you arrive, parking at the Theme Parks is a whole lot easier than winning a Piston Cup. You just queue up at the parking plaza at the entrance and pay the daily fee. Then, faster than fast, quicker than quick, Cast Members will direct you through the lot to an open spot. And if Disney Springs is on your must-do list, parking there is free for everyone. It's a great reason to dine and shop the day away!

I hope this helps you plan your Disney days, Catherine. Be sure to cruise on by and visit us again if you have any more questions!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
