Hi Brandon! Welcome to planDisney, are you ready for what will be a magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth?! Thanks for your question today!
Brandon, you can purchase
theme park tickets at the Ticket Booths outside the Main Entrances to both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. However, I DO recommend purchasing before you arrive, because you still need to make theme park pass reservations to enter either park and if you wait until the last minute, there may or may not be openings for the parks you want to visit that day. Make sure you have the
Disneyland app downloaded on your phone and ready to go if you decide to wait until you get there to purchase your tickets. My magical friend,
Tony, also has a pro tip I think you will like as well!
To help make your day extra magical, I also suggest purchasing
Disney Genie+ Service during your visit. This magical service not only helps you create a personalized itinerary based on your preferences, but will also show wait times for attractions and shows, and any reservations you have (such as dining), and you will be able to make Lightning Lane reservations to enter attractions at a quicker rate (as opposed to standby queues), and you will have unlimited downloads of photos taken by a Disney PhotoPass photographer during your visit! Keep in mind pricing for Genie+ varies by theme park and by the day, and if there is an attraction marked as Individual Lightning Lane, they are an extra fee. I loved using Genie+ during my latest visit to a Disney theme park, and I hope you do too!
Thanks for stopping by again, Brandon! The magic is calling, have a wonderful visit to Disneyland!
Frances
