Hi there, Kara! We are so happy you found your way to planDisney!
It looks like you are planning a very magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth this January! There's no better way to kick off the New Year than with a little pixie dust, and I have great news for you! As long as you have a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Reservation, you will have
access to perks like
Early Entry reserved just for hotel Guests. It does not matter if you booked tickets and hotel accommodations together as part of a
Disneyland Resort Vacation Package or if you booked them separately. The best part is that your Early Entry access applies to every day of your visit, including the day you check in and the day you check out. Keep in mind that you will also need a
theme park ticket and a
theme park reservation for the day or days you are hoping to use Early Entry. The park that you have a reservation for will be the park that you have access to during these extra magical minutes ahead of park opening.
If you are booking tickets and hotel accommodation separately, my advice is to ensure that both are linked to your Disneyland account. You can do this easily in the Disneyland Mobile App by navigating to the three-bar menu in the bottom right-hand corner and tapping into "Tickets and Passes" and then "My Hotel Reservations". You will be able to link your tickets by entering ticket confirmation numbers. Likewise, you can also connect your hotel reservation by dropping in your confirmation number.
Early Entry is a great way to get some classic Sleeping Beauty Castle photos or head to your favorite attraction to get your day started. I highly recommend taking a peek at the
attractions that will be open at both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park ahead of time. This way you can plan out the best way to use those magical minutes!
Kara, I sure hope this was helpful in your planning! If you have any more questions, you know where to find us here at
planDisney.
Magic awaits!
Tara
