Should I buy the park tickets online or at the gate?

    Hi Lourdes,

There is actually a pretty big benefit to purchasing your tickets online ahead of time. When you purchase your tickets in advance and link them to your My Disney Experience account, you'll be able to make three FastPass+ selections per day before you even arrive! This complimentary service allows you to skip the standby lines, not only saving you a lot of time, but allowing you to enjoy even more magic and fun during your visit!

If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll be able to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days before you arrive for the entire length of your stay, up to 14 days. If you're staying elsewhere, you'll be able to make your selections 30 days ahead of time. And regardless of where you're staying, once you've enjoyed your first three FastPass+ selections, you'll be able to use the My Disney Experience app or an in-park kiosk to make additional FastPass+ selections, one at a time, until the parks close. I'd definitely encourage you to take full advantage of this wonderful service!

While you'll be able to use the FastPass+ service whether you purchase your tickets online or at the gate, you'll find that the earlier you make your selections, the more availability and flexibility you'll have. The other major benefit to purchasing tickets online is that you'll save $20 per ticket when you purchase 3-day or longer tickets over the cost at the gate!

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lourdes, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning your trip! Have a truly magical vacation!
