    Do you have to buy a park ticket to attend Mickey 's Very Merry Christmas party?

    Hello again, Cheryl!

    Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a magical event celebrating the holiday season. The Magic Kingdom closes at 7 P.M. on party nights, and only Guests who have purchased the special event ticket are permitted to remain once the party starts. Keep in mind that your event ticket allows you to enter the Magic Kingdom at 4 P.M. to enjoy some favorite attractions or grab a bite to eat before the holiday party events begin. If you plan to spend the morning or afternoon at the theme park, then you will need to purchase a regular theme park admission ticket. When my family attends one of Mickey's famous parties, we plan to spend a leisurely day at our Disney Resort hotel's pool so we are refreshed and ready to stay late for the party.
