If i buy park hopper ticket, can I get into a park that is unavailable to reserve in park reservation? For example, 13th of October we can’t reserve magic kingdom. But if we buy park hopper ticket and reserve in epcot, can we move to magic kingdom after 2?

Hiya Youngmin and welcome to planDisney!

Theme Park Tickets with the Park Hopper Option is always my go-to ticket choice for my Walt Disney World Resort Vacations. Like our friend Prince Naveen, I've got to be free to hop from place to place. Of course, with the addition of Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System, I can definitely understand your confusion. Not to worry, your Fairy GodTaylor is here to explain it to you!

You've got the right idea about how to use that Park Hopper Option to your advantage. If Magic Kingdom Park is all booked up and you have a Theme Park Reservation at EPCOT, you will have the opportunity to switch parks at 2 PM. While there is a risk that your second park is still at capacity, more than likely you'll be able to enter without a problem. On the day of your visit, to save yourself a little time, you can check to see if your next park has reached capacity by calling 407-560-5000.

Pro-tip: Be aware that you absolutely must check into the Theme Park you have a reservation for first. You won't be able to hop to your next park if you haven't.

Youngmin, best of luck as you hop around The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any other questions, feel free to come back for another chat. Our door is always open!

    Happy planning!
