Hey there, Richard! Thanks so much for bringing your question to planDisney. There is nothing I love more than helping people plan visits to the Happiest Place on Earth. Being at
Disneyland Resort brings me and my family great joy.
Richard, although tickets can be purchased at the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Ticket Booth, I strongly suggest looking into
purchasing a ticket online in advance, as a
theme park reservation is required for entry. This way you can avoid surprises in the event there are no longer any theme park reservations available the day you arrive.
To purchase a ticket online, log in to your Disneyland account. Go to “Parks & Tickets” and click the “Theme Park Tickets” link. Here you will see the ticket options, including the number of days you’d like to visit. You will have an opportunity to select a One Park Per Day or Park Hopper ticket. This process will lead you to making a theme park reservation as well.
Park Hopper tickets are wonderful because the two theme parks are so close together. You can have double the fun when you can visit both parks in a day! At the time you purchase a Park Hopper ticket, you’ll select the park at which you’d like to start your day. After 1:00 p.m. you can hop over to the other park, after which you can move back and forth between the two parks for the remainder of the day.
Have you been to the Avengers Campus yet, Richard? I hear Peter Parker is looking for new recruits to help him wrangle the fast-multiplying Spider-Bots! Check out
WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure for an exciting adventure. Afterwards, you could swing by
Pym Test Kitchen for a snack (my favorite is the Quantum Pretzel) if those Spider-Bots worked up your appetite.
Have a magical visit, Richard! See ya real soon,
Kamini
