Madison, hello and welcome to
planDisney!
I see that you have a vacation planned to the
most magical place on earth later this summer. I bet you are getting so excited. Hopefully, you are counting down the days!
I think you'll be happy to know that if you have purchased two individual
Walt Disney World Theme Park tickets, one can be upgraded to a
park hopper if you would like. Since the tickets are not connected like a 2-day ticket, you have the flexibility to only upgrade one day if that is what you decide to do. Also, if you want to park hop both days, you can go ahead and upgrade both 1-day tickets if you'd like as well. It's very flexible since the tickets are separate from each other.
With your tickets, Madison, I wanted to mention that you'll also need to have a
park pass reservation - even if you upgrade to the park hopper. Park pass reservations are basically like a virtual placeholder in line at the theme park you'd like to visit each day.
Park hopping looks a little different than it did before. Now to park hop, you must have a park pass reservation for the first Walt Disney World Theme Park you'll be visiting that day. Then, you'll need to scan in and enter that particular theme park first. This sort of activates your park hopper feature. Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion you might have had about your tickets. If you have any other questions, I'd love for you to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Happy hopping!
Jackie H.
